Dr. Cassandre Milien

Dr. Cassandre Milien, a dedicated and compassionate nurse, has been a cornerstone of our community since embarking on her nursing career in 2009. With a diverse background encompassing acute care, long-term care, nursing academia, and a relentless commitment to personal growth and community service, she stands as a beacon of positive impact and inspiration for us all.

Born with a heart full of empathy and a desire to make a difference, Dr. Milien embarked on her nursing journey in 2009. Her earliest years in nursing were marked by her unwavering dedication to patient care and her ability to provide comfort in the most challenging of circumstances. It was clear from the start that she was destined to become a true healthcare professional.

Throughout her career, Dr. Milien has gained invaluable experience in both acute care and long-term care settings. Her ability to adapt to the evolving demands of the healthcare industry has allowed her to provide holistic care to a wide range of patients, making a profound impact on their lives and those of their families.

Recognizing the importance of passing on her knowledge and nurturing the next generation of nurses, Dr. Cassandre Milien transitioned to nursing academia. For the past ten years, she has been a dedicated educator, shaping the future of nursing through her guidance, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing education.

Dr. Cassandre Milien has not only excelled in the clinical and academic aspects of nursing but has also achieved a Master’s degree in executive nurse leadership. This accomplishment showcases her commitment to leadership excellence, which has undoubtedly contributed to her ability to lead and inspire others in the healthcare field.

In her relentless pursuit of excellence, She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice program in 2023 to further expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve her community. Her dedication to personal and professional growth is truly commendable.

Beyond her impressive nursing career, Dr. Milien actively participates in the health ministry and women’s ministry at her church. She has taken on a leadership role in planning programs and special events that have a profound impact on the well-being of our community members. Her tireless efforts to uplift and support those in need exemplify the spirit of compassion that defines her character. She has published an article titled “Provider education to increase sexually transmitted infections screening rates among older adults seen in a primary care practice” in the Journal of Nurse Practitioners in 2024.

Dr. Cassandre Milien is not just a nurse; she is a pillar of strength and care in our community.
